Code Of Conduct

It is important that you accept and understand our Code of Conduct upon enrolment. Please read these carefully.

Next Generation Dance Studio promotes a respectful, friendly, supportive and happy atmosphere amongst staff, students and parents. Next Generation DanceStudio undertakes that all students will be nurtured, encouraged and prov ided with an environment that promotes physical, mental and emotional wellbeing, aids learning and promotes dedication, discipline and commitment. Failure to adhere to the Code of Conduct may result in suspension or termination of student enrolment.

We welcome you as part of our Next Generation Dance Studio family. We aim to make your experience whether as a student or a family member a positive and happy one.

  • 1. Parents/Guardians, students, visitors to the premises and Next Generation Dance Studio staff and teachers are to treat each other with respect at all times. Bad language, abusive behaviour, bullying or disruptive behaviour is not acceptable.

  • 2. Safety of our students is paramount. Students under 18 are required to be escorted to and from the studio premises by an adult. Please ensure that they are at the designated drop off area in time for commencement of class and collected in a timely manner at the completion of class. We cannot guarantee supervision of students at all times once their class have finished.

  • 3. We ask that all students, parents and visitors to the studio refrain from any negativity towards the studio, the students, other parents or Next Generation Dance Studio teachers and staff while in the studio or on social media.

  • 4. Parents/Guardians or other family members are not permitted into the studio during class time unless invited to do so by the teachers. Viewing weeks are available at set times throughout the year and will be advised to families via email.

  • 5. If Parents and siblings are in the studio foyer for any reason we ask that you be respectful of classes in progress and keep the noise to a minimum. Siblings must be supervised at all times.

  • 6. Our Studio facilities are for everyone to enjoy and we ask that you help to keep it tidy and use the bins provided. You will be expected to make full restitution to the studio for any damage caused.

  • 7. We ask that Parents/Guardians read all information provided carefully to ensure that they are up to date and aware of any events. Information will be provided throughout the year by email, newsletter and on our private Next Generation Dance Studio Members Page on Facebook.

  • 8. We welcome any questions you may have or clarifications you require and are here to help. Any concerns or problems should be raised directly with the on-duty desk staff, Principal or the teacher on duty. You are welcome to request a time to meet with the Principal or Teacher and we ask that this be requested by email if possible.

  • 9. Parents or Students are not to contact individual teachers via social media, their private emails or phone numbers in relation to any questions you may have about your child/children or to advise of any illnesses, absences etc.
